Protein probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind when you look at cereal nutrition facts, but carbs probably are. 

Plus, they might be really practical for mornings when you're on the go. 

However, she does caution that not all brands are equivalent when asked about making a purchase.  

Prior to purchasing, ensure that you have reviewed the ingredient label for any added sugar, artificial colors, or sweeteners.

She suggests eating it occasionally if you like the flavor, but otherwise, she says to eat breakfast dishes that aren't overly processed most of the time. 

Nonetheless, the high-protein variety is preferable to the regular sweet cereals when you're really in the need for them.
