Experts say fresh, canned, and frozen peas have similar nutritional value. So it depends on your tastes and how you cook with peas.  

"When things are frozen, they are at the peak of ripeness," Derocha says, retaining nutrients. The most handy peas are canned, but Pettitpain says they include salt and lose some minerals.
