Fresh vs. Juiced Kiwifruit  

Kiwi juice is a great way to eat it.  

A study compared the bioavailability of fresh, raw kiwi juice to pasteurized (heated to kill pathogens) juice and showed that fresh juice contains more total phenols, flavonoids, dietary fiber, and ascorbic acid.  

Pasteurized juice has fewer phenols and flavonoids.  

Steps to create kiwi juice in a blender or juicer:

Blend fresh, juicy kiwi flesh. Add maple syrup or honey (optional)  

Water, greens, other fruits, and herbs are optional.  

Blend until liquid.
